When a notorious Egyptologist (Karloff) becomes terminally ill, he arranges for a bizarre post-mortem ceremony. Through the magic of an ancient amulet called the Eternal Light, he lays plans in hopes of being brought back from the netherworld.
Scheming servants, distant relatives, and a less-than-pious man of the cloth conspire to find the charm, reputed to be worth a princely price...until the dead return!
