This one-eyed lab creation is perhaps the most acerbic movie critic since Rex Reed of the New Yor Observer. All sarcasm aside, Dr. Deadly’s assistant displays the most incredible knowledge of old horror movies. Week after week, this cyclopean VCR has the dubious task of examining each videotape that stumbles through the front doors of the Hibernaculum, and assists in providing commentary on the Cine’ du Morts.

Stavros’ haute wit often cuts the other denizens of the estate with a tonguesharper than Paul Lind wielding a scalpel. His greatest fear, though, is ending up as a cornea replacement for the half-blind witch Beryllia. Only by his constant vigilance in the lab does Dr. Deadly’s favorite optic manage to keep everything in working order.
