After waking from a terrifying dream, Dr. Deadly becomes obsessed with the concept of fear. The physcian examines what makes one fearful: Is it real or just imagined?

Distracted from his evening meditation, the Doctor leaves for a walk. The witch Cerullea uses his absence and pries through the lab, only to discover clues that lead her and her two sisters to questions their true, evil origins.

In the end, Dr. Deadly develops an antidote to the condition Fear. But after serious consideration, and in a fit of rage, he destroys the glowing formula. Accepting the axiom that if one was to embrace all that wish their destruction and bend to outside pressures, such unholy forces would surely obliterate those as surely as human blood runs red.
