As the early hours of dawn approach, an exhausted Dr. Deadly attempts to complete his latest experiment in the bowels of the Hibernaculum. Exhausted and overwrought with insanity, the doctor miscalculates his compounding formulas and a disastrous explosion rocks the lab.

When the smoke clears, a burned and irresolute Deadly takes probe of life’s cruelty. But an air of uncertainty as to whether his disfigurement is permanent continues to hang within the caustic haze.

Will Dr. Deadly be able to move past this inequity, or will his bitterness only be sowed with grim reaping?
